Broad Spectrum Bactericide - Protozoacide

Composition: Each 5 ml contains Norfloxacin 100 mg and Metronidazole 100 mg

Metronidazole is an oral synthetic antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent. Norfloxacin is fluoroquinolone with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity. Metronidazole interacts with DNA with ultimate inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis and subsequent cell death. Norfloxacin acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme which is required for DNA replication and thus causes bacterial lysis.

Diarrhoea and dysentery of bacterial, amoebic and mixed origin.
